Clay Roane PSD offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your need.
Internet Payments
Payments can be made here on our website using debit or credit cards. Just keep in mind that all credit card payments will not be posted until the following day. We use a third party vendor that uploads to our system each morning all transactions from the previous day.
If your account has been terminated and wish to reconnect, please DO NOT pay online. Payments can take several days to process, so your reconnection may take long. For quicker reconnection, pay at the office.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send in your bill stub also. This will assure the correct account is credited. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Payment in Person
You may pay your bill in person by visiting our office. We accept cash, check, money orders as well as credit/debit cards.
Payment using Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
After Hours Lock Box
We also have a locked drop box located to the left of our main gate at the entrance of our office. You may place payments in this box at any time. Please place your check, cash, or money order along with your bill stub in a sealed envelope. Payments placed in the drop box on a week day, will not be processed until the next day. Payments placed in the box on the weekend will not be processed until the next business day.
TELEPHONE PAYMENTS
We do not take payments over the phone.
