All customers are required to fill out the Customer Notification OPT IN or OPT OUT form. In this form, please indicate your preferred method of notification regarding any service outages. This ensures that you receive timely updates in the manner that works best for you. Forms may be found on our website and in our office.
GENERAL ORDER NO. 266
IN THE MATTER OF requiring all non-motor carrier
utilities and cable television service providers to
have a process in place to contact customers by text
message and e-mail regarding planned and
unplanned service outages and request updated
contact information from customers.
COMMISSION ORDER
The Commission requires cable TV service providers and all utilities other
than motor carriers (non-MC utilities), in West Virginia to (1) have a process to
notify customers by text message and e-mail regarding service outages, and (2)
request updated contact information from customers.
